Using a google ad grants campaign we managed to place Flo Skatepark at the top of the search engine and increase the number of participants. Flo has the aim of identifying opportunities where sport and art can be a vehicle for wider personal development that affects genuine social and community value. Establishing a targeted outreach programme and strong links with community organisations across the City.

Challenge

Luckily for Flo Skate park we have previous experience of applying and creating a Google Ad Grants account and were able to sort the whole process on there behalf. The Ad Grants scheme has a lot of elements to make the account compliant and with our knowledge of the scheme we were able to get this passed quickly and easily for them. The main aim was to increase the number of people establishing healthy, active, positive lifestyles in our community through participation in skateboarding, BMX and artistic pursuits,

Strategy

We reviewed the best keywords for their target audience and created a PPC campaign which had the aim of increasing the brand awareness of Flo Skatepark with the ability to expand as Flo grew. The campaign was targetted towards Flo’s three main groups; young people under the age of 16, Women and Girls - working towards narrowing the gender gap in Skateboarding and BMX and people from lower socio-economic backgrounds and communities in Nottingham.

Solution

Flo Skatepark saw an increase of website traffic, adwords clicks and participants leading to a more sustainable charity. Any surplus funds the charity made were retained and used to sustain, grow and develop activities in accordance with their objectives as a charity.

Using a the Google Ad Grant for None Profits we were able to quickly grow Flo's reach within the Skate community and raise awareness of the charities aim, we helped towards them hitting key milestones and growth of visitors to the Flo Skatepark site.
